记得大二下学期第一次考四级，那时的我总以为时间还长着呢，这次不过还有下一次呢。以至于我在考试前的一个月内都没有看一眼英语知识，犯了轻敌错误的我在那次考试中，只得了30多分。随着时间的推移，事实最终证明，我浪费了一次绝佳的机会。大三上学期，我一直被一种浮躁的心情笼罩着，根本没有把多少心思放在学业上，更别说自己不太感兴趣的英语了。很快第二次考试来临了，我匆匆花了一个星期的时间来突击英语。结果自然是徒劳的，当时我考了40几分。两次考试的失败，渐渐地，英语成了我的心理负担。大三下学期，我开始忙于在校外的实习，英语又被晾在了一边。事实上，当时我产生了“破罐子破摔”的心理。我想，反正人又不是靠英语活着呢，考不上就考不上呗，凭着自己其他方面的能力总能养活自己的。可想而知，我以40来分的成绩结束了第三次征程。说实话，我浪费的不仅是这三次机会，更重要的是花在英语学习上的时间以及被英语所笼罩的心理阴影。试想一下，假如我珍惜机会，努力学习的话，也许我第一次或者第二次就会过关的。这样我就可以把大把的时间用在其他方面上。不幸的是，我一次又一次的浪费机会，换来的只是恶性循环。大四的情况不同了，因为我要面对更严峻的工作问题。以前，家里对我基本上是放任自流的，很少过问我学习上的事情。这次，哥哥逼着我要耐下心来学好英语。因为他感到如果我英语不过关的'话，毕业时就不是学士学位，户口也不能落在深圳或广州等大城市。为此，他甚至要求我把英语以外的事情都放下来，专心学习英语。
这样，我被分在了暑期班上。在学习中，与我年龄相差无几的老师们的细致、活波的授课对我帮助甚大。经过在暑期四级强化班的系统学习，我在英语学习方法和技能上都有很大的提高。这一点在我做历年四级真题和模考题上就明显的显示了出来。
老师们负责耐心细致的讲解对我尤其帮助最大。你们不仅在课上为我们细致讲解有关问题，下课后从不早早走出教室，而是耐心地等待我们问问题，直到没有人问你们问题后才离开。我想说，“好人”两个字是最能概括你们的全部。
也许扯的有点远了，但历经磨难最终过了四级后的我的心情是很激动的，所以就多说了点，老师们不要见怪。
出成绩的当天，我匆匆洗完澡后，打开查分的网页，然后***了一张耶稣的画像，并把它设置成我的桌面。最后呆呆地坐在电脑桌前，闭上双眼，合上双手，做起了长达一个小时的祈祷。虽然我不信基督教，但我脑中却始终默念着“神啊，拯救我吧”，因为我的内心充满了担忧的急切的渴望。我把上帝作为了我当时心灵上唯一帮助。当其他宿舍传来叫喊声时，我知道能够查分了。于是在网页上输入准考证号后，我又闭上了双眼，又默念了一句“神啊，拯救我吧”。当睁开眼时，我立刻欣喜若狂了起来，因为上面显示的是“66.5”分。据我同宿舍的哥们说，我当时的尖叫声跟一个柔弱的女孩子突然见到一个可怕的毒蛇爬到脚下时没有什么区别。
四级总算通过了，我的一个心病也根除了。回想一下我征战的历程，我要感谢很多人的帮助。尤其重要的，我要感谢老师们给我的教导。再次感谢你们！
